ChataTále is located in the recreational and tourist resort Tále in the Bystrá valley, which is the starting point to Chopok, Ďumbier and Dereše.
The story of the Mountain Service House began in 1975, when the members of the Mountain Service started its construction in their spare time. After 35 years of operation, it was in need of a complete renovation, which was completed in 2021. Since then, the chalet has been offering year-round accommodation in double and family rooms, restaurant services and a bar. In the summer season, there is also a campsite at the chalet.
